Joanna H. Dell is of counsel Dell & Dean PLLC, where her practice concentrates on all aspects of personal injury litigation with a concentration on automobile and premises liability cases.

Prior to going to law school, Joanna gained valuable experience as a litigation paralegal handling personal injury matters, working at one of the biggest Korean personal injury law firms in New York. When Mrs. Dell takes on a case, her clients get the benefit of her considerable knowledge, intense personal investment, and her humility. Mrs. Dell’s mantra is that the only thing that matters is the client and their needs. Each case is different and Mrs. Dell understands the work that is required to bring a case to a resolution.

A graduate of Touro College – Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center with an undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University, Mrs. Dell has interned as a clerk in the chambers for the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York and the Nassau County Supreme Court performing research, writing, and assisting the Court in trials and hearings.

In addition, Mrs. Dell performed over one-hundred and fifty (150) Pro-Bono hours providing advice and representing clients who were in financial distress by preparing their Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Petitions and participating in U.S. Bankruptcy Court at Section 341 hearings as well as personal bankruptcy proceedings and has counseled debtors on available alternative remedies.

Mrs. Dell was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a National Law school Fraternity and is an active member of the Women’s Bar association. Mrs. Dell has dedicated her time out of the office volunteering for Breast Cancer Awareness and helping young children learn the Korean language. Mrs. Dell teaches Korean at her church’s Korean school. Mrs. Dell continues to advocate for her Korean community and is a great addition to our firm.
