Andrea R. Laterza isa Partner at Dell & Dean. Ms. Laterza is the head of the firm’s in-house motion and appeals department. She has successfully written and opposed countless substantive motions and argued before the Appellate Division, Second Department.
Her practice areas focus on construction site accidents, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, as well as medical malpractice. Since joining the D2 family in 2018, she has zealously advocated for injured clients as if they were part of her own big Italian family.
Ms. Laterza has been repeatedly rated as a Super Lawyer, Rising Star. She has had a track record of excellence, graduating from Touro College – Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, magna cum laude, ranked 6th academically in her class. She served as an Associate Editor on the Touro Law Review and has an article published in the area of hearsay titled, “That’s What She Said:” An Evaluation of Whether Hearsay Exceptions should be Permitted in Accusatory Instruments.
Ms. Laterza is a Long Island native, who earned a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Hofstra University and is also an alumna of Kellenberg Memorial High School. She spends her spare time being a New York Mets fanatic and hiking with her husky.
